MCGA CREATIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL

The 2023 Creative Music Festival will happen in person this year on June 5 @ Maples Collegiate (1330 Jefferson Ave, Winnipeg, MB) at 7:30pm

We will also be taking submissions of virtual performances (video or audio) which will be shared during the evening show.

Creative Music Festival Guidelines

• The Creative Music Festival is open to any grades K-12 student of a registered teacher of the MMEA

• All works must be original compositions, composed and performed by students

• Compositions should ideally evolve from class curriculum or extra-curricular assignments

• Instrumental, vocal, and music technology submissions are accepted

• Only one composition per student(s) Performance time will be limited to no more than 10 minutes
